Modular structure

Our 18-month graduate trainee program is structured into two modules focused on you and your personal & professional development.

Module 1 “The Basics & Development (basics)"

In the first nine months, you will network with business experts to understand the core activities of the oil business. Working at one of our OTAMERICA Terminals, you will gain insight into the role of important functions like IT, Finance, HR and Purchasing at OTAMERICA.

Module 2 “Development (expert) & Graduation”

You will have a regional assignment giving you an opportunity to broaden your OTAMERICA horizon while moving to a different country where you will experience a new culture and gain an even deeper understanding of the complexity underlying a regional company’s work. The end of regional assignment, according to your performance, will be followed by a permanent position in your local country.

JDP

The graduate trainee program will be supplemented throughout with seminars and training sessions on specific business topics to further advance your personal development. During this 18-month journey you will have the personal support of our employees as we jointly lay the foundations for your future in energy & logistics.

Prerequisites

  • Be graduated from university careers listed or related to vacancy.
  • Availability to reside in the town of the vacancy in which you are applying to.
  • We are looking for graduates who have the potential to develop successful career with us.
  • If you have work experience, it will be valued.
  • Valid passport to travel.

Assets & Operations

OTAMERICA Argentina receives crude oil, which may come from pipelines or vessels, and stores it in the 24 tanks at the Puerto Rosales Pumping Station and Maritime Terminal. For crude oil arriving from vessels, OTAMERICA manages two single-point mooring buoys for unloading operations from tankers. These maritime facilities are part of the Puerto Rosales Pumping Station and Maritime Terminal.

HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment)

The HSSE area oversees, coordinates, and controls all activities within the terminal that require attention from the perspective of operational risks and responsibilities related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Asset Security. It ensures that operations and maintenance tasks comply with OTAMERICAs HSSE Policy. Furthermore, through example and coordinated programs, it inspires employees and contractors to embrace the company's safety culture.

Suggested careers: Industrial, environmental, chemical engineering or a postgraduate degree related to the area (HSSE).

You should know that if you are the chosen candidate, you will rotate through the areas of Operations, HSSE and Engineering & Projects.

Assets & Operations

The terminal is designed for the marine transfer of liquid hydrocarbons, including Propane, Butane, Naphtha, MDBS, B-100, ULSD and Diesel B5-S50, serving both domestic and international markets.
